Random thoughts

Random Thoughts

Just wanted to send some random thoughts to you as a token into my world. I was sitting at home last night watching the Monday Night round-up

7:00 p.m. - Confessions of an American Teenager (ABC FAMILY)
8:00 p.m. - Gossip Girls (WB)
9:00 p.m. - The City (MTV)
9:30 p.m. - Daddy’s Girls (MTV)

My Monday is truly full with this and it is almost sickening how I am comatose to one spot for these 3 hours. But with viewing this magnificent round up last night I was consumed with fashion, well not necessarily with the Confessions of An American Teenager. They display just average dressing not even equivalent to the average teenager who is really aware of the current trends. But GOSSIP GIRLS. I am truly in love with the up to date, trendsetting atmosphere. These High School girls are in a class all by themselves. They are constantly breaking rules and defying the odds. Wearing the 4 inch Manolo Blahnik shoes that you would only dream of wearing when you “Grow up”! I know it’s just TV and they have stylists and an extremely large budget but so what I can pretend like it is real and Jenny is truly a “Rihanna looking” top notch Designer!

Now we all know that MTV’s “The City” is not scripted and is totally realistic! (Laugh Sarcastically) Whitney has truly left a Lala Land LA and has stepped up with the big girls of NYC. She is working with DIANE VON FURTENSBURG (Classic in her own right) and dressing the part all together. I’m kind of confused because she does not know if she is going for the grunge look or the clean cut look. But I guess when you are making $65,000 per show you can afford to go with whatever look you chose!

Ok on my favorite girls, Vanessa and Angela Simmons. “Daddy’s Girls” premiered last night and besides the fashion it was kind of dull. Of course my girl Chiriga was on the labels throught the episode. Angela’s YSL shoes and her cousin’s Sam Eldman Purple boots. HOT TOO DEATH. Well I definitely won’t give them that much time because it was boring and scripted. Shot out to Angela’s Punk Girlie look she was going for. Cute bow had one of those in Preschool. Bringing styles back is always a plus.
